@ yellowspaz and muhammad ali "the wise"? - looks like someone's feeling's got hurt...I'm so sorry. Sniff, sniff. Ok back to reality -

Now if you don't like people talking about your console go somewhere else (where I'm sure you'll find less adolescents and adults talking about it) and start a plethora of wii threads where I'm sure you'll get 10's of responses from the adult wii masses (uh, sarcasm). Looks like you guys'll have fun watching your 'girls' and 'nephew...

and this game will be purchased for my PS3. Good read.

the 'kid' babysitter will be relegated to the corner of the closet like the 'ol GC and 64 with a dozen or two titles by NINTENDO actually worth playing.

When will people ever learn that tricks are for kids? The low-tech approach is going to explode in Ninty's face I'm afraid. People are always looking to improve (well most people)... not go sideways. Good luck with it. C'mon Nintendo, let's graduate already.

be one in a long list of Greatest Hits lining up for SNE this Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2007. Motorstorm is a fun, fun game with loud kick ass music, great vehicles and stunning graphics. The lengths of some of the tracks are what some of you are overlooking in your rush to (number of tracks) judgement. DJ already stated that it's harder to creat solid, original, and fun and exciting tracks from sratch vs. recreating real world venues as the good folks at Polyphony do so well. If you're...

Even you've gotta admit that the Bravia series is pretty strong and an outstanding development (and marketing) job on SNE's behalf. See, by partnering with Samsung on the technology, the company reduced r&d costs which could be poured into production, qc, and marketing. But it's the quality of these new sets that's taking us back to the (OLD) SNE days when the price 'really' was justified. Go get you one. I wouldn't lie to you.

I must say that the picture on mine is sim...

my thing to post first guys; however I found this article interesting - not by the seemingly imbocilic noobs testing these new systems (new to them), but by the varied reactions from both camps respectively. Somehwat sophomoric, albeit informative (5 people?) to a degree. =]

what an outstanding article this is. There are really some cool little tidbits I found quite interesting in here, but won't comment due to the massive amount of flamelaced content involved. One thing I find REALLY hard to believe though, is that my old 250 lb. beast of a Phillips 27" CRT (with component connections) would make Resistance & Genji look better than on my Bravia!? Uh-uh...not buying it.lol Again, great read man. =]

You really are a true piece of work. The limits of my laughter are pushed to the extreme when I read some of your thoughts. Man, you know I 'm a gamer that plays it all. All, really. I'm surrounded by games nearly 24 hours a day (for all systems) and access to almost all of the games on the PS3 except for Blazing Angels. I am very fortunate to have access to such a fun hobby and to be able to play almost whenever I want. I give all thanks to God Almighty.

From the IGN interview with Oblivion VP of Marketing, Peter Hines 8/2/07:

--"In fact, the other reason why the downloadable content for the PS3 version of the game isn't included isn't solely because of the technical limitations of the system. Instead, it's because the designers haven't actually tested the PlayStation Network Store and the mechanisms for delivering content to systems. Considering that the development team has been spending a large amount of time making s...

-- "Features will be added and functionality will be added and we’ll continue to refine it, and you understand that better than anybody. But, we have a very different philosophical approach than our friends at Microsoft. I don’t think we’re ever going to—to use your phrase—copy them. We would prefer to go our own direction. Now, if that means that we end up beating them on certain features and beating them by adding new innovations—which we will—then that’s great. That’s what business is...

I dunno which one of you it really is, but I don't believe the article is about the 360. The article is about Reg's comments on the Wii not mart's obsession with the 360. You fell for that and defend the 360 which is your right, but don't lump me in with 360 hating 'cause it doesn't exist.

--"Um no. Ps3 got praise from a playstation only developer (Factor 5) and thats about it. BTW we all know that microsoft has been getting praise for its dev tools by everyone in the industr...

He said Sony made too big a bet on Blu-ray and on the price that the consumer is willing to pay for gaming. He said the Blu-ray vs HD-DVD war is shaping up to be a "bloody battle that won't be resolved soon." --

Positive news from C|Net re: one black & shiny PS3? Surely this can't be right. Oh, wait - what is that you say? Part II is coming? Well, strike up the band for the 360 victory in the thrilling conclusion of: "How we rope-a-dope'd you SNE fans" -- suckers! My bad! =]

I'd bet my ranch that you've never played Genji and the only things you know about it are what you've learned second hand. Beautiful game, parts of it (fire, waterfalls, forests) rival the realism and HD clarity of your best offering and exceeded my expectations. Now I don't want to jump all over you mate, but why don't you try playing and enjoying a title before deciding to vomit all over it based on conjecture, hyperbole and hearsey. I can't wait for Genji II on PS3. It's gonna be a stu...

Insider perks are normally ridiculous by nature, but this takes the cake. Sorry Utah, but I look forward to finally adding this game to my collection at the price of desctruction in independent film & ski country. I love the b@llz out ambition in the action - adventure theme of Warhawk, but couple this with "go-anywhere" "drive-anything" nex-gen goodness and this could be a match made in heaven. I'm not saying Battlefield good yet, but??? Let's hope.

has pretty much summed it up with his comment. "Research and Markets" put out a similar statement roughly two to three weeks ago that I posted and it seemed to define the PS3 as the clear victor in the end of this war DESPITE the advances of the 360's penetration into the sector due to install base and games library which they seemed to think would bloom. Meh..

Afterall, what would Guerilla gain by having a stupid demo come out this early unless they were looking for massive feedback in order to begin making fixes and patches to bugs and anomalies. If the game is going to be as good as PS3 owners expect it to be, then there would really be no need for a demo this early on the race with Halo3. Just let Halo roll out what they've got visually, features and gameplay wise, then strategically counter. If Halo puts out a demo, then condsider putting on...
